Director of Client Services Job Description
The director of client services will work under the
direction and supervision of the executive director and will have assistance
from the administrative assistant as needed.
The director of client services will adhere to the mission
statement and faith statement of APPC and will demonstrate a willingness to
represent Christ to our clients and in the community. Although not required, it
is recommended that this individual be a member of the APPC board and attend
board meetings.
The director of client services would perform the following
duties:
- Recruit and train mentors and make
any necessary changes or additions to the training curriculum
- Design, update, or modify
curriculum as needed for EWYL, parenting , HEART, Sexual Integrity, and
men's ministry programs, working in collaboration with and in consultation
with the director before these changes are made
- Make recommendations about client
services’ promotion (ie. posters, brochures, radio, and TV ads)
- Keep an up-to-date record of
community services to which to refer clients
- Keep director informed about
client-mentor relationships and client needs on an as-needed basis
- Attend staff meetings when
scheduled and report on client progress and/or programs
- Maintain a level of professional
development that is consistent with program development and service
provision
- Report to APPC supporters via
articles in quarterly newsletters
- Maintain after hours phone service
(cell phone), may delegate if necessary
