| Probably not. But think about it... Guys are half of the pregnancy equation and for every pregnant woman there is a man involved... well, you get the idea! These men need other men to talk to and confide in; men who will listen without judgment. Real men who are not afraid to share God's love. |

How would this town be changed IF men were serving God and their families as intended? How would that affect Nebraska, the country, the world? Sounds big, but we have a big and wonderful God. On April 11 and 12, Kurt Ramspott, founder of Guys for Life, based in Kirkwood, MO, came to the APPC with the purpose of training men to establish a men’s ministry team. It was exciting to see eight men from various backgrounds and churches who were hungry to learn more about how they can serve God by helping men become real men of God. We were challenged to think about achieving our goals using five questions to stimulate our visioning. These really sparked my interest in a great way. Read each question for yourself and take a moment to let your imagination run. What kind of picture do you get?
What would you see
IF… Then came the biggest challenge, directed at those of us in attendance… In order for men to CHOOSE to do each of these things, what must we do in our Men’s Ministry program here at Agape Pregnancy and Parenting Center? There are many directions we can take to reach goals and develop services; however, one thing is paramount: we must be 100 percent led by the Spirit of God. This is God’s work and we just want to be available. We understand that God created each of us as unique individuals with different gifts and all the men are in different seasons of life (which is what makes it so exciting too!). Something else to keep in mind is that it’s not going to happen overnight. Ministries do not spring up fully formed – they grow as they are nurtured. I would like to challenge you to look at those five questions again. What would it look like if men were doing those things? If the answer excites you as you think about the potential impact on families, marriages, and our future, you might be asking yourself, “what can I do?” First of all PRAY! Pray for our direction, and for wisdom. If you are hearing from God to support us in any other way, please contact Amber or myself and we will be blessed to have you partner with us.
